چکیده
The definition of graph Fourier transform is a fundamental issue in signal processing. Conventional defined through the eigenvectors Laplacian matrix, which minimize ?2 norm variation. In this paper, we propose generalized based on ?1 variation minimization. We obtain necessary condition satisfied by basis, and provide fast greedy algorithm to approximately construct basis. Numerical experiments are also provided compare differences between basis

Multi-dimensional Graph Fourier Transform
Many signals on Cartesian product graphs appear in the real world, such as digital images, sensor observation time series, and movie ratings on Netflix. These signals are “multidimensional” and have directional characteristics along each factor graph. However, the existing graph Fourier transform does not distinguish these directions, and assigns 1-D spectra to signals on product graphs. Furthe...
متن کاملGraph Cuts via l1 Norm Minimization
Graph cuts have become an increasingly important tool for solving a number of energy minimization problems in computer vision and other fields. In this paper, the graph cut problem is reformulated as an unconstrained l1 norm minimization that can be solved effectively using interior point methods. This reformulation exposes connections between the graph cuts and other related continuous optimiz...
متن کاملThe Norm of the L'-fourier Transform on Unimodular Groups
We discuss sharpness in the Hausdorff Young theorem for unimodular groups. First the functions on unimodular locally compact groups for which equality holds in the Hausdorff Young theorem are determined. Then it is shown that the Hausdorff Young theorem is not sharp on any unimodular group which contains the real Une as a direct summand, or any unimodular group which contains an Abelian normal ...
متن کاملl 1 - NORM OF THE FOURIER TRANSFORM ON COMPACT VECTOR SPACES
Suppose that G is a compact Abelian group. If A ⊂ G then how small can ‖χA‖A(G) be? In general there is no non-trivial lower bound. In [3] Green and Konyagin show that if Ĝ has sparse small subgroup structure and A has density α with α(1 − α) ≫ 1 then ‖χA‖A(G) does admit a non-trivial lower bound. In this paper we address, by contrast, groups with duals having rich small subgroup structure, spe...
متن کاملAnalyzing the Weighted Nuclear Norm Minimization and Nuclear Norm Minimization based on Group Sparse Representation
Nuclear norm minimization (NNM) tends to over-shrink the rank components and treats the different rank components equally, thus limits its capability and flexibility. Recent studies have shown that the weighted nuclear norm minimization (WNNM) is expected to be more accurate than NNM. However, it still lacks a plausible mathematical explanation why WNNM is more accurate than NNM. This paper ana...
